Windswept Sailing Charters, sailing the southwest Michigan coast, is docked and departs from the Saugatuck/Douglas area.

Take a sailboat ride aboard "Windswept" , a classic 38-foot Morgan Sloop.

Our season begins in mid May and we continue to sail through the months of June, July, August, and September. Weather premitting, fall cruises extend into the month of October.

Join us with your family & friends for a morning or afternoon cruise for a great way to spend a few of hours of summer fun. Or if you prefer, take that special someone on an evening cruise for breathtaking views of a Lake Michigan Sunset!

Kalamazoo River

The first part of your journey takes you into Kalamazoo Lake and through downtown Saugatuck. As you sit back and settle in, we drift past yachts at the docks and local landmarks such as Coral Gables and the historic chain ferry next to Wicks Park. As the trip continues, Windswept motors past summer homes and cottages along the Kalamazoo River. Captain Dave's crew will raise the main sail as Windswept makes her way out of the channel. As she clears the pierheads, the motor is turned off and wind fills the sails as the head sail is unfurled. Prepare yourself to be swept away by the sparkling waters of Lake Michigan and the adventure of a lifetime!

Sit back, relax and enjoy the sun. Feel free to lounge around on the deck or take the wheel and steer the boat. Admire the sparkling lake waters and coastline views of dunes and sugar sand beaches that Michigan is known for. Water, sun, wind, unbelievably beautiful scenery, and being swept away by the waves will give you, your family, and friends an experience that you will not soon forget!

If you're interested in yacht races, join us as a crew member! Every other weekend, on a Saturday, are Tower Harbor Yacht Club races.
If just watching is all that interests you, Wednesday nights during the summer in Holland are hosts to races at the Macatawa Bay Yacht Club
